THE GAP WE FILL
While most legal defense resources focus on universities, K–12 students and their teachers have been struggling to navigate sophisticated attacks built on disinformation largely on their own. Unions and administrators are stretched too thin to recognize and respond to their playbook.

OUR SERVICES
1. Legal Firepower & Movement Support
We offer legal advice, defense, and referrals, while organizing impact litigation to stop the erasure of Palestine and defend against authoritarianism in our schools. We combine legal defense with movement strategy, because in these fights, the courtroom and the community are inseparable.
Who this is for: Students facing classroom exclusion, suppression of their culture and history, or retaliation for speaking up. Educators under investigation, facing disciplinary action, or threatened with litigation.
2. Truth Defense: Protecting Educators from the Smear
Bad-faith actors use a specific playbook: coordinated with Israel advocacy organizations, they deploy false accusations of antisemitism in the media and at school board meetings, flood districts with coordinated complaint filings, escalate to state and federal enforcement bodies, launch doxxing disinformation campaigns to target reputation, and require ideologically-driven trainings across K-12 schools while attempting wholesale classroom bans on curriculum. We know every move.
We defend the right to criticize a state without being labeled hateful. We center students’ lived experiences, historical accuracy, and the classroom as a place of inquiry—not intimidation.
3: Know Your Rights Trainings & Workshops
We offer live and recorded trainings for educators, unions, and school communities—in partnership with aligned organizations across California.

Knowledge—Fear thrives on confusion. We offer clarity: know your rights, see the playbook before the attack, understand the anatomy of a smear campaign, have scripts ready for administrators, boards, unions, and media.
Collective Power—No one faces this alone with K-12 Defense behind them. We put people in the room, on Signal, and at the board meeting.
Protection—Bravery requires guardrails: legal counsel, union coordination, documentation tools, social media strategy, and response when doxxing begins.
Legal Backbone – You have fundamental rights to due process, to learn and teach in classrooms free from anti-Palestinian racism, and to define your religious and ethnic identities for yourself. You too can file discrimination complaints, union grievances, public records requests, state, and federal lawsuits to enforce your rights.

WHAT WE DON’T DO
